Welcome to Motorsports Ministries

Motorsports Ministries is an organization conceived, developed, and operated to provide for the spiritual and emotional needs of the people involved in professional and amateur automobile racing. The ministry strives to bring balance and perspective, providing ministry and encouragement to the whole person. The ministry endeavors to influence the unchurched as well as those with a Christian commitment. Recognizing that life, like racing, is composed of multi dimensional experiences; Motorsports Ministries attempts to encourage individuals to understand the essence of life from a Christian viewpoint.

May God’s richest blessings be upon you as we approach the holiday season.

May gratitude fill our hearts once again for the many blessings we enjoy.

Update from Motorsports Ministries!

Greetings in the precious name of the Lord! Let me begin by saying a very heartfelt Thank You for the encouragement you are to us here at Motorsports Ministries.  Your prayers, support and words of encouragement mean more than words can express.  What you contribute to this vital ministry has literally fueled it and made it possible to continue to move forward during this difficult time of transition since the passing of its founder and President, Richard Anderson.

During this time, there has been much prayer and effort to find a successor for the lead position of this ministry.  After much prayer, discussion, phone meetings, seeking council and approval from our Board, I am extremely pleased and excited to announce that Terry Borcheller is Motorsports Ministries’ new President! Terry is a certified minister who has been involved with this ministry for 20years. He was instrumental in ministering to the youth at the track for our Light Racing program and has served as the Ferrari Challenge Chaplain for a number of years.  Professionally, Terry has won 7 sportscar championships. He is a three-time winner of the Rolex 24 at Daytona and competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times– standing on the podium in his debut. Having driven for over 20 different manufacturers, he has also claimed victory in the Sebring 12 Hours and has won more than 60 races overall. With all these accolades, Terry has expressed many times that as much as he enjoys racing, his even greater passion is sharing Christ with others. We are privileged to have a man of such great integrity representing Motorsports Ministries at the track.  Terry, his wife Tracy and their 4 children reside in Vero Beach, Florida where he is involved in their local church.  Plans for the 2016 season are already in play and Terry has refreshed vision and commitment to each IMSA and Continental Tire series race. A team of Chaplains are in place to ensure all paddock ministry needs are met. God is good!

Once again, thank you for your endured patience and support. We continue to look forward to what God has in store for this great ministry! Please keep Motorsports Ministries, its staff and Board Members in your prayers as we press onward.

As we enter into this season of Thankfulness, I trust you take time to reflect on the many blessings in your life. We are thankful for YOU!

Warm Blessings,

Beth Anderson, Former Interim Director

Remembering Justin...

I had the privilege of meeting Justin thru his involvement in the Daytona24. He always seemed like such a genuinely kind soul. He was always extremely gracious to me, & seemed to have a huge amount of respect for the Sportscar community. The impact of his life is far reaching. Auto racing has lost a larger than life personality. The thoughts & prayers of myself, & Motorsports Ministries goes out to his many friends, & family.

-Chaplain Terry Borcheller
